COVID Vaccination Verification

COVID-19 vaccination verification for the AMS-SEM-SMT 2022 Joint Annual Meeting has begun.

Starting in early September, registrants for the 2022 Joint Annual Meeting have begun receiving invitations to upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required by the meeting’s COVID-19 policies and precautions.  Verification of vaccine cards is being conducted by CLEARED4, the meeting’s health and safety partner. The CLEARED4 platform is HIPAA-compliant and provides a variety of healthcare-related support tools for tracking vaccinations, COVID-19 testing, contact tracing, and more.

In order to comply with the meetings COVID-19 policies, all registered attendees must provide proof of vaccination with a WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine. Alternatively, those who cannot or do not wish to be vaccinated may instead elect to: 1) provide proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test within 3 days of the start of the conference; and 2) report the results of daily antigen testing each morning during the conference.

We strongly advise registered attendees to upload proof of vaccination as soon as possible. As part of the overall effort to limit the spred of COVID-19 during the conference, we have implemented reduced contact protocols with the goal of thinning lines at the Registration Desk. In keeping with these protocols, we will be mailing conference badges to all U.S. registrants roughly a month before the conference. If you are a U.S. resident and would like to avoid lines at the Registration Desk and receive your badge by mail, you must upload proof of vaccination on or before 5 October 2022. All other attendees will be required to pick up their badges at the Registration Desk. (We apologize for the inconvenience, but for reasons of cost and because postal reliability varies internationally, we cannot mail name badgest to attendees coming from outside the United States.)

If you do not receive an invitation from CLEARED4 to verify your vaccination status within 7 days of registering for the conference, have problems with the platform, or would like to avail yourself of the option to test, please contact us at events@amsmusicology.org.
